  I went to the Toorak store on the weekend after calling and asking about leather embossing. I was told they could do leather engraving and do it on the spot. When I arrived I asked to see an example of leather engraving as I had not seen it before. I was told there was nothing and that dont worry, it would be perfect.
  I wanted my husbands initials put on to a lovely new wallet for our 1 year anniversary. When I asked if I could see the range of fonts, the older man with an accent serving me said I could have block letters or slightly curly or any font I wanted. He kept typing phils in curly letters into the computer when I asking to see capital initials in block letters. He didnt seem to know how to work the computer which was not exactly confidence instilling.
  When he became frustrated he turned to me and in a very patronizing tone told me to stop being difficult or he would turn me away! All I wanted is an understanding of the product I might be getting!
  He proceeded to tell me off several times, was not clear on any of the information but assured me everything would be perfect and I would need to trust him.
  Then I was told to come back in 3 hours. The job would not be done on the spot as he had told me on the phone.
  I was so upset and walked away with very little confidence. I was worried about the wallet and should have gone elsewhere, but I was quite shaken around.
  When I did pick up the wallet it was damaged and the perfect leather worn away and bruised around the engraving. When i pointed it out, he said that it was because the wallet was uneven (not flat) and the machine didnt work well on uneven surfaces. He actually said "I probably should have told you that". Yes. No apology.
  I told him I was really disappointed with the surface and that this was a really expensive and special gift for my husband that was now damaged. I asked him if it would still be the full cost and he said yes, of course.
  I paid and got out of there. It utterly ruined my weekend.
  Please do not use this company.
